My stay at Sakaide Plaza Hotel was disappointing, particularly due to the strong smell of cigarette smoke and the unclean room I was given. While the convenience of a public bath was a highlight, the overall experience wasn't worth the price I paid. For future trips, I would definitely consider staying somewhere else.

The room was very cramped and had a terrible cigarette smell. It was also dirty, with stains on the carpet and a bathroom door that was held together with tape. I was quite uncomfortable throughout my stay.
Service

There wasn't much service interaction to note, as the hotel seemed more focused on being a budget stay. The minimal services available didn't contribute positively to my experience.
Location

Located about a 2km walk from the station, Sakaide isn't the most vibrant area. I found there weren't many dining options nearby, making it inconvenient for a quick meal.

Dining options at the hotel were quite limited. While there was a convenience store nearby, I wished I'd had better restaurant choices for meals.

The top floor public bath was a calming escape and had great views of the Seto Ohashi Bridge, which I appreciated after a long day of travel.

My stay at Sakaide Plaza Hotel was quite disappointing. although it was affordable. The strong smell of cigarette smoke and the cleanliness of the room left much to be desired. On the positive side, the public bath on the top floor offered a nice way to unwind after a long day.

I found Sakaide Plaza Hotel to be a mixed experience. On one hand, it was affordable and had a public bath that was indeed relaxing, but the cleanliness and overall condition of the room left much to be desired.

The room was quite small and not very clean, with a strong smell of cigarette smoke. The capsule bathroom was problematic, as the door was held together with tape, and the carpet had large stains. Although the bed was relatively comfortable, I found myself wishing for better conditions.
Service

I didn't have much interaction with the staff, but the check-in and check-out processes were fairly straightforward. Still, the lack of attention to cleanliness felt like an oversight in overall service quality.

The hotel is about a 2km walk from the station, which was not ideal. There weren't many restaurants or shops around, just a nearby convenience store, making it hard to find decent dining options.

There were no notable dining options in the vicinity. I didn't have a chance to eat at the hotel, so I can’t comment on that aspect. It definitely seemed like I would have needed to travel farther for better food choices.

The highlight of my stay was the public bath on the top floor; it was clean and had beautiful views of the Seto Ohashi Bridge. The rest of the facilities were basic, and I wished there were more amenities.

I found the Sakaide Plaza Hotel to be a mixed bag. While the location near a convenience store was handy, the strong cigarette smell and small, dirty rooms made my stay uncomfortable. However, I did enjoy the public bath on the top floor—it was perfect for unwinding after a long day.

My room was super tiny and had minimal amenities, which wasn't ideal. I struggled with the setup since the sink was in the shower area; not great for spreading out my toiletries.

The hotel's location was convenient, with a Lawson convenience store close by, but it was a bit isolated with not many dining options. I would recommend heading to Takamatsu for more choices.

I didn’t try any dining options at the hotel, but given the lack of restaurants nearby, I think I missed out on some potential eats.
